I was born and raised in Kinsale — a town shaped by maritime history, storytelling, and a quiet confidence that comes from knowing exactly who you are. Today, when we’re not working at sea, my wife and I live in Courtmacsherry, a coastal village that captures the understated beauty of West Cork.
Before creating Hidden West Cork, we spent years working in the international travel industry aboard luxury cruise ships, welcoming guests from around the world. That experience gave us a deep understanding of discerning travellers — what they value, what they remember, and what truly makes a destination exceptional.
